Joao Cancelo wants Wolverhampton Wanderers switch?

Valencia full-back Joao Cancelo is believed to be pushing for a move to the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the 24-year-old has asked agent Jorge Mendes to begin talks with the club over a switch to the top flight.

The newspaper adds that Cancelo's unclear future at Valencia could pave the way for proceedings to progress between the two parties, with the full-back rated at around €40m.

Cancelo spent the latter half of last season on loan at Serie A side Inter Milan, where the right-back scored once in 28 appearances.

Manchester United and Juventus have previously been linked with a move for the 24-year-old.
