Wolves earn late friendly win in France

Wolverhampton Wanderers have earned a late 3-2 win over FC Chambly in the first match of their pre-season tour of France.

The hosts took the lead midway through the first half when Louckmane Ouedraogo capitalised on some slack defending to hit a low drive past goalkeeper Jon Flatt.

Wolves got themselves level with 32 minutes on the clock as Michael Jacobs got in front of his man to head home Conor Coady's whipped cross.

Kenny Jackett's side then made it 2-1 on the stroke of half time when Benik Afobe showed quick reactions inside the box to convert the loose ball after Rajiv van La Parra's shot deflected off Nouha Dicko.

Having made 11 changes during the interval, Wolves just about edged it in terms of second-half chances as Tommy Rowe and Donovan Wilson both missed with headers.

Chambly snatched an equaliser with 12 minutes left to play through Ouedraogo's close-range header, but Wolves found a winner deep in stoppage time thanks to Bright Enobakhare's strike from a tight angle.
