Paul Ince says that he has what it takes to save Wolves from the drop.

Paul Ince believes that he could a better job than Terry Connor's attempts to save Wolverhampton Wanderers from relegation.

The former England international said that he possesses more managerial experience than the current Molineux boss and has what it takes to steer Wolves to safety.

"When I spoke to Jez [Moxey] about the situation, he said the job was about experience, but a day later they appointed Terry," The Sun quotes Ince as saying.

"With all due respect to TC, I've got more managerial experience than him. I've saved teams from relegation, I've got teams promoted and I've managed in the Premier League. But the job at the moment is about motivating players and the fans and I feel I can do that. I feel I should be at the club now.

"If someone said, 'Take it for the last seven games', I'd do it because it's Wolves and they're my club and they're only going one way at the moment."

Ince has been without a job since leaving Notts County last year.
