Preview: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Bolton Wanderers

Sports Mole previews the match between in-form Wolverhampton Wanderers and struggling Bolton Wanderers at Molineux in the Championship this weekend.

Bolton Wanderers will be keen to build on their first win of the season when they travel to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship this weekend.

The Trotters came out on top in a closely-fought match with Rotherham United earlier this week, moving them out of the relegation zone and up to 21st in the table.

Dougie Freedman will have a new face available for the trip, having completed the signing of Crewe Alexandra striker Max Clayton today, agreeing a £300,000 compensation fee for the academy product.

However, Hayden White will not be part of the squad, having completed a one-month loan move to Carlisle United earlier.

Meanwhile, Wolves continued their strong start to life back in the second tier with a 1-1 draw with unbeaten Charlton Athletic earlier this week, leaving them fourth in the table.

George Saville's spot in the side could be in doubt as he was taken off at half time in the trip to The Valley, despite having struck the post in the opening 45 minutes.

Sam Ricketts, who recently sustained an injury while on international duty with Wales, was fit enough to be named on the bench earlier this week, so could come in for the hosts.

Bolton have a good record against Wolves in recent years, winning two and drawing three of their last five matches against Saturday's opponents.
