Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Vitor Pereira could hand an immediate full debut to new signing Jackson Tchatchoua in Saturday's Premier League battle with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
The former Hellas Verona defender was confirmed as a new Old Gold player on Tuesday and is eligible to make his debut on the South Coast, where Bournemouth left-back Adrien Truffert will have his work cut out to stop him.
Indeed, Tchatchoua was recorded as the fastest player in the 2024-25 Serie A season - clocking a top speed of 36.3 kph - and the 23-year-old will have his eyes on Ki-Jana Hoever's place at right wing-back.
Pereira should stick with the same defensive formula otherwise - in spite of his side's 4-0 crushing at the hands of Manchester City on the opening weekend - as Matt Doherty, Emmanuel Agbadou and Toti form the protective barrier in front of Jose Sa.
Andre and Joao Gomes's midfield partnership remains unbreakable too, while Tchatchoua's fellow new arrival David Moller Wolfe should fend off the threat of Hugo Bueno to reprise his role at left wing-back.
However, the visiting boss is not short of options for change up front, where both Fer Lopez and Jhon Arias will stick their hands up for starts in place of Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.
Lopez's promising cameo appearance may just give him the edge over Arias, who will therefore have to accept another peripheral role as Jorgen Strand Larsen and Marshall Munetsi continue up top.
Wolverhampton Wanderers possible starting lineup:
Sa; Doherty, Toti, Agbadou; Tchatchoua, Gomes, Andre, Wolfe; Lopez, Munetsi; Larsen
