Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo expecting tough Middlesbrough test

Nuno expecting tough Middlesbrough test

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has said that he expects to see two teams "trying to play football" when his side face Middlesbrough on Good Friday.

Nuno takes Wolves to the Riverside Stadium with a six-point lead over second-placed Cardiff City at the top of the Championship standings, and with 12 points required from eight games to guarantee promotion to the Premier League.

However, Nuno says that he expects a difficult encounter against a Boro side who are unbeaten in their last six fixtures at the second tier.

The 44-year-old told the club's official website: "There has been a lot of change in both squads but we know that Middlesbrough have good momentum.

"They have four wins in their last four games at home, that tells us how difficult it's going to be but we are ready. We are looking forward to playing again. It's going to be a good game. Two good teams trying to play football."

Wolves have not recorded a win away at Middlesbrough since 1951.
