McCarthy out to frustrate Chelsea

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy has hinted that his team will go out to frustrate Chelsea when the two sides meet at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Despite the Blues having lost five of their last six games, the 52-year-old is aware of the hosts' attacking quality.

"I never do anything other than wanting to take points off the top teams or bloody the noses of them," he told his club's official club website.

"But you've got to try and stop them, because they've got millions and millions of pounds' worth of talent.

"I always think back to when Jose Mourinho accused who was it - Tottenham? - of parking the bus in front of their goal. Well I'm not saying we're going to do that, but sometimes you have to!"

The Midlands side are currently 17th in the Premier League table, while Chelsea occupy fifth place.
