Mick McCarthy admits concern over turning draws into wins

McCarthy concerned about lack of wins

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy has admitted he is concerned about his side's inability to claim victory following their 2-2 draw with Norwich.

A thrilling contest at the Molineux saw the Midlands club come back from a losing position twice thanks to goals from Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Ronald Zubar.

After the game, McCarthy revealed that he hopes for a bit of luck to turn draws into wins after Steven Fletcher's 90th-minute strike had been correctly called offside in a marginal call.

"Of course there's a concern about turning draws into wins," said the Irishman.

"I'm not sat here blissfully happy after a 2-2 draw with Norwich at Molineux.

"We've just had two home games against the promoted sides and we're not a team that won."

Wolves are currently two points off the relegation zone in 16th place.
