Jackett demands Wolves improvement

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has warned his side that they must stop delivering average performances if they are to challenge for a playoff place.

The Black Country club are five points behind the Championship's top six after failing to win any of their last three games

Jackett has acknowledged that while positive results are needed, performances are the key element from his perspective.

"I think our performances need to improve, I think performances look after results," he told the Sutton Coldfield Observer.

"Our performance level needs to go up and we are looking for it to go up. In terms of the last three or four games I don't think we have hit top form and I don't think we have created enough chances and we are looking to improve that this week."

Wolves travel to Huddersfield Town this evening.
