Cardiff City have returned to second in the Championship table thanks to a 2-0 win at Norwich City.

Kenneth Zohore and Junior Hoilett scored late on at Carrow Road to edge the Bluebirds above Fulham, who kick off against Brentford at 5.30pm.

At Oakwell, Oliver McBurnie scored a stoppage-time equaliser to give Barnsley a 2-2 draw against relegation rivals Bolton Wanderers, but the Tykes stay in the dropzone.

Burton Albion moved off the bottom with a 3-1 win over local rivals Derby County, who missed a late penalty and dropped out of the playoffs due to their loss at the Pirelli Stadium.

Sunderland are now at the foot of the table after throwing away another lead, drawing 2-2 at Reading to sit six points from safety with three games to go.

Middlesbrough's 2-1 win against Bristol City lifted Tony Pulis's charges into the playoffs at the expense of Derby, while earlier in the day, Millwall edged into sixth thanks to their 1-1 draw at Sheffield United.

Elsewhere, Hull City fell to a 1-0 defeat against Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest ran out 2-1 winners over Ipswich Town, and Preston North End won 2-1 at Queens Park Rangers.
