Bonatini: 'Wolves return is amazing'

Leo Bonatini has admitted that it feels "amazing" to have been handed a four-year contract at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolves signed Bonatini on a season-long loan deal from Al Hilal last summer, and although 12 goals were scored in 43 Championship appearances, the Brazilian failed to score during the second half of the campaign.

However, it did not stop Wolves from moving to sign the 24-year-old on a permanent deal, and the striker is hopeful of a better season in the Premier League.

Bonatini told Wolves TV: "I'm so happy to be here and join the guys, it's an amazing feeling to play again for Wolves.

"In the last days [before the summer break] I was thinking with me, if I was coming here or going back to my ex-club, Hilal in Saudi Arabia, but I'm happy that when I arrived yesterday the coach said to me, there is time for everything.

"I'm happy I've signed four years with Wolves and I hope the year will be better than the last one."

As it stands, Bonatini will compete for a first-team place with Benfica loanee Raul Jimenez.
