Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leo Bonatini is reportedly likely to return to action with the Championship side before the end of February.

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Leo Bonatini has reportedly only been ruled out of action for a maximum of two weeks.

Last weekend, Bonatini was a surprise absentee from the squad for the West Midlands outfit's Championship fixture with Queens Park Rangers.

However, according to the Express & Star, the Brazilian is not expected to spend a prolonged period on the sidelines with what remains an unknown injury.

Wolves face three matches in the space of a week, with the trip to Preston North End on February 17 being followed by contests with Norwich City and Fulham respectively.

Bonatini had previously appeared in each of Wolves' 30 Championship fixtures this season, with the 23-year-old contributing 12 goals and five assists.
