Half-Time Report: Sheffield Wednesday, Wolverhampton Wanderers level at half time

Sheffield Wednesday and Wolverhampton Wanderers are goalless at half time in their clash at Hillsborough.

Wednesday made a bright start and it needed a last-ditch clearance from Richard Stearman to prevent Steve May slotting the ball in, after he rounded the goalkeeper just six minutes into the game.

The hosts continued to press and created the best chances, as Royston Drenthe went close with a volley and his corner was headed narrowly wide by Glenn Loovens.

Wolves failed to create any clear-cut chances but Danny Graham and Rajiv van la Parra both caused problems.

May will feel he should have given the Owls the lead in the 40th minute when the ball was cut back to him inside the box, but instead of scoring he blazed it over the bar.
