Wigan Athletic are closing in on the signing of Levante striker Arouna Kone.
The 28-year-old has travelled to England for a medical with the Premier League side following successful negotiations with their Spanish counterparts.
Should the Ivory Coast international pass the medical examinations, he will sign a three-year contract at the DW Stadium.
Kone joined Levante from Sevilla last summer.
