Chelsea closing in on Victor Moses?

Chelsea closing on Moses deal?

Chelsea have reportedly taken positive steps in their bid to bring Victor Moses to Stamford Bridge after undergoing more negotiations with Wigan Athletic.

Latics chairman Dave Whelan has revealed that they are willing to sell their star asset, provided Chelsea can match their £10m valuation of the 21-year-old attacker.

Whelan has confirmed that further talks have taken place with the Blues since an initial offer was rejected last month.

Chelsea are hopeful that their £9m bid, which includes £3m in appearance and performance-related add-ons, will be enough to persuade Wigan to sell the Nigerian, according to Sky Sports News.

Moses joined Wigan from Crystal Palace for £2.5m in 2010.
