Wigan continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 2-0 win over QPR, thanks to two goals from Franco Di Santo.
The former Chelsea striker found the back of the net four minutes before the break, firing a shot past Paddy Kenny from 25-yards out.
Di Santo doubled his tally shortly after the hour mark, when his shot from the edge of the area deflected off defender Bruno Perone's back to seal all three points.
Wigan travel to Manchester City when the Premier League returns after the international break on Saturday, September 10, while QPR welcome Newcastle on the Monday night.
