Ryan Shotton set for Wigan Athletic debut in Europa League

Ryan Shotton should make his debut for Wigan Athletic in this Thursday's Europa League Group D away clash against Zulte Waregem.

Manager Owen Coyle has promised several changes from Saturday's Championship loss at Leicester City, and along with full-back Shotton, who was an unused substitute, midfielder Nick Powell, winger James McClean and forward Callum McManaman are also poised to be in the starting lineup.

Defeat at Leicester has left Wigan in the bottom half of the Championship on eight points.
