West Ham United are understood to have joined the chase to sign Fulham midfielder Clint Dempsey.
The American was fined by the Cottagers on Friday for refusing to play for the club as he seeks a move away from Craven Cottage.
The Hammers could now challenge Liverpool and Arsenal for the 29-year-old's signature, according to The Metro.
Dempsey, who has a year left on his contract, scored 23 goals last season.
