Fulham captain Tom Cairney 'keen on West Ham United move'

Fulham captain Tom Cairney is reportedly keen to join West Ham United.

The Hammers have tabled a £15m bid for the midfielder but, according to Sky Sports News, his current employers are unwilling to sell.

West Ham could find it difficult to prise the Whites skipper away as he signed a new contract at Craven Cottage last summer, keeping him there until 2021.

West Bromwich Albion are also said to be interested in the 27-year-old, but are yet to lodge a formal bid with Fulham.

Cairney has established himself as a fan favourite at the Championship outfit since joining them from Blackburn Rovers in 2015.
