Slaven Bilic playing West Ham United waiting game?

Slaven Bilic is reportedly prepared to wait to be offered the manager's job at West Ham United.

The former Hammers defender has been linked with the role at Upton Park since Sam Allardyce left following the conclusion of the Premier League season.

West Ham have reportedly planned talks with Sevilla head coach Unai Emery this week regarding their vacancy.

According to Claret & Hugh, Bilic is being kept in touch with all the developments in East London while on a two-week holiday in Croatia.

The report adds that he would be eager to take charge of the Hammers should they fail in their bid for Emery.

Bilic is out of work after leaving Besiktas this summer.
