Sam Allardyce: 'West Ham United are flying'

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce admits that his side are "really flying" following their 3-1 home win over Swansea City in the Premier League.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has lauded his side's display in their 3-1 home win against Swansea City in the Premier League this afternoon.

Wilfried Bony opened the scoring for the visitors with a composed finish, but goals either side of half time from Andy Carroll saw the Hammers turn the game around.

Swansea then had goalkeeper Lukas Fabianski sent off before Diafra Sakho wrapped up the result with a third goal in the closing stages of the match.

Allardyce has admitted that his side are "really flying", and singled out on-loan midfielder Alex Song for praise.

He told BBC Sport: "The disappointing thing was the first attack Swansea had they scored but we fought back. For us another three goals in the bag and a big eight days - nine points - I don't think anyone in the Premier League has done that this week.

We are really flying, we have a lot of players fit. The way Alex Song controls that midfield for us is brilliant. He gets the right service to the front men. We will enjoy ourselves for a day or two and get ourselves ready for the next game."

West Ham will look to make it four wins in a row when they take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light next Saturday.
