Sam Allardyce taking legal action against Steve Kean

Allardyce taking legal action against Kean

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has reportedly instructed his lawyers to initiate legal proceedings against his Blackburn Rovers counterpart Steve Kean.

Allardyce is believed to be angry with comments made about by Kean, which were made public after a video was leaked last night.

The footage appears to show Kean making a series of negative comments about Allardyce, while also taking the credit for the development of Phil Jones, who now plays for Manchester United.

Kean worked under Allardyce during the latter's stint in charge of Blackburn Rovers, before going on to replace him in December 2010.
