Sam Allardyce: 'West Ham United will come good at home'

Sam Allardyce believes that former club West Ham United will soon begin winning at home to complement their impressive away form so far this season.

Sam Allardyce has praised West Ham United's tactics in their away games this season, adding that Slaven Bilic will soon come good at home as well.

The Hammers, whom Allardyce managed between 2011 and 2015, have lost both their home games so far, against Leicester City and Bournemouth, but claimed shock wins at Arsenal and Liverpool.

Allardyce told BBC Sport: "West Ham have failed miserably and conceded lots of goals in Slaven's first two home games against sides they could expect to beat. But away against the big sides they have looked one of the tightest units we've seen in the Premier League.

"They made fewer mistakes than Arsenal or Liverpool and that's why they deservedly won both games. Slaven will be keen to turn it on for the home fans. It's a big test. The new signings look good. I think they'll be a good force this season."

West Ham currently sit 10th in the Premier League table.
