Sam Allardyce confident of West Ham United triumph at West Bromwich Albion

Allardyce confident of West Ham triumph

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has backed his side to beat West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns tonight.

The Hammers moved up to fifth place in the Premier League table on Saturday thanks to a 1-0 win over Newcastle United at Upton Park.

Meanwhile, hosts West Brom are currently just two points above the drop zone after losing their last three games.

Allardyce expects the Baggies to put up a fight as they look to climb up the standings, but he is confident that West Ham will leave the Midlands with the spoils.

"Every game away from home in the Premier League is difficult and West Brom will be no different," he told the club's official website.

"It's about our attitude towards the game and we need to go over there and face up to the fact that, if we play to our best, we will have an opportunity to win."

West Ham were beaten 1-0 when they met West Brom at The Hawthorns last season.
