West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis believes that it is important to focus solely on the next game as he tries to save the team from relegation.
The Baggies are currently five points above the bottom three in the Premier League table with 12 games left to play.
Pulis has previous experience of fighting relegation as he managed to keep Crystal Palace in the top flight last season.
"It's important you focus on every game, I don't think it's about a points tally at the moment," Pulis said in this afternoon's press conference.
"We've just got to focus on the game ahead and for us that's Southampton. Until that game is finished, everything is focused on that and irrespective of how other teams are going and how results go, we've just got to get as many wins as we can."
West Brom have taken 27 points from 26 games this season.
