Rickie Lambert safe after Paris attacks

West Bromwich Albion have confirmed that Rickie Lambert is safe after the terror attacks that took place in Paris on Friday evening.

The 33-year-old was with his wife Amy in the French capital as multiple attacks occurred killing at least 128 people, but he was not harmed in the atrocities.

"The club have spoken to Rickie Lambert. He and his wife are safe. Rickie wanted to thank all fans for their tweets of concern and support," confirmed the club on their official Twitter account.

Crystal Palace have also revealed that defender Martin Kelly is "safe and well" after he had been at one of the restaurants targeted by gunmen earlier in the evening.
