West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis is confident that Saido Berahino will be fit to play in the team's Premier League opener against Manchester City on August 10.
The forward made his return to action in Friday's pre-season 2-1 victory over Richmond Kickers following a month out with a knee injury.
The problem resulted in Berahino missing the England Under-21s' European Championship campaign in the Czech Republic, but Pulis has no concerns over the forward's fitness for the new season.
"I don't think he's too far behind," the Express & Star quotes Pulis as saying. "I think he's quite a naturally fit lad, but he will need more game time. I'm confident he'll be ready for Man City - no problems."
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a £15m move for the striker.
