Ashley Williams: 'Chris Coleman deserves all the credit for Wales success'

Williams: 'Coleman deserves all the credit'

Wales captain Ashley Williams has praised manager Chris Coleman for guiding his side to Euro 2016.

The Dragons ended their qualifying campaign with a 2-0 victory over Andorra thanks to strikes from Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale to finish in second place in Group B.

Williams is adamant that all the credit for their successful campaign lies with Coleman, who took over in difficult circumstances following the death of Gary Speed in 2012.

He told BBC Sport: "I can assure you whenever we've gone out on the field he's got us right up for the game. We enjoy the camps, he makes them enjoyable.

"If you ask any of the guys in there we always try and perform for him. We feel disappointed for him when we lose. He deserves all the credit he gets."

Wales have reached a major tournament for the first time since 1958.
