Jeremy Perbet not planning Villarreal exit

Jeremy Perbet plays down suggestions that he could leave Villarreal this summer.

Jeremy Perbet has played down suggestions that he could leave Villarreal this summer.

The Frenchman has scored 21 times in 42 league matches for the Yellow Submarine since joining from Mons in 2013.

It is understood that his form over the last couple of seasons has attracted a host of European interest, but the forward has quelled talk of a move.

"Unless an offer that is impossible to refuse comes, I don't plan a departure, and it's logical to continue," Inside Spanish Football quotes Perbet as saying.

"I know there are clubs that are interested in me, but the club doesn't have the intention that I leave, and I don't have the intention to leave the club."

Perbet is currently on an extended holiday in his home country.
