Vancouver Whitecaps 2-2 Seattle Sounders

Fredy Montero scored a stoppage-time equaliser to earn Seattle Sounders a 2-2 draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place.

The visitors had already come from behind earlier in the match, as Eddie Johnson's 47th-minute bullet header cancelled out Alain Rochat's early tap in.

Camilo Sanvezzo had looked to have secured Whitecaps their sixth win of the season with a stunning free kick eight minutes from time.

However, with the final whistle imminent, Johnson nodded into the path of Montero and the Colombian struck a sweet low shot from 20-yards that whistled past goalkeeper Joe Cannon.
