Report: Valencia now favourites for Rodrigo

Valencia have reportedly emerged as the favourites to sign Benfica forward Rodrigo.

Atletico Madrid have been strongly linked with a move for the 23-year-old, who scored 18 times for the Portuguese outfit last season.

However, according to Cadena COPE, Valencia have had a bid accepted for the striker and are confident of completing a deal this week.

Valencia have transfer funds to spend this summer due to the presence of Singaporean businessman Peter Lim.
