Federico Cartabia pleased with progression

Valencia attacker Federico Cartabia has revealed that he is pleased with his progression this season.

The 21-year-old, who has been with the Spanish outfit since the age of 13, represented their youth side before stepping into the B team last season.

The Spaniard made the breakthrough to the first team this season, however, and has made 16 league appearances for the La Liga side.

"I'm working hard and learning lots of things every day from my teammates, who advise and help me," he told reporters at a press conference.

Fede was born in Argentina but moved to Spain in 2006.
