Liverpool's Luis Suarez leads Uruguay's 25-man World Cup squad

Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez names his provisional 25-man World Cup squad, which includes Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani.

Liverpool star Luis Suarez and Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani are among the players included in Oscar Tabarez's Uruguay World Cup squad.

The pair will travel to Brazil for the tournament, which begins in June, alongside Diego Forlan and West Bromwich Albion defender Diego Lugano.

Southampton midfielder Gaston Ramirez has been named in the provisional squad, while Atletico Madrid's Diego Godin is also awarded a spot.

Uruguay will face England, Italy and Costa Rica in Group D.
