Voronin retires from international football

Ukraine striker Andriy Voronin has announced his retirement from international football following his country's elimination from Euro 2012.

The 32-year-old was part of the Ukraine outfit that finished bottom of Group D with three points, and he will now focus on club football with Dinamo Moscow.

"I am leaving the Ukraine team. I took the decision in advance. I have chosen to focus on a club career because I am not young enough to combine both roles," he told Sport.ua.

Fellow Ukrainian Andriy Shevchenko announced his international retirement on Tuesday.
