Sascha Riether poached by Schalke month after permanently signing for Fulham?

Fulham defender Sascha Riether has been linked with an exit from Craven Cottage just a month after signing a permanent deal with the club.

The 30-year-old finalised a switch to the Premier League outfit following a loan stint for a reported £1.3m.

Despite his move, it is understood that Schalke's general manager Horst Heldt is poised to launch a bid for Riether, according to the Daily Star.

Riether joined Fulham from German outfit Koln.
