Lustig expects Celtic stay

Celtic defender Mikael Lustig has revealed that he expects to sign a new contract with the Scottish champions.

The 27-year-old Swede, who recently made his comeback from injury after four months out, is due to be a free agent at the end of the season.

However, Lustig is confident that he can agree fresh terms with the Hoops over the summer.

When asked if he was likely to pen a new deal at Parkhead, he told Sky Sports News: "Yes, I really enjoy being here so yes. We have started talking so we will see what happens."

Lustig joined Celtic from Rosenborg in 2011.
