A number of new signings for Manchester City make the Wednesday papers.

What the papers say

Pep Guardiola has his eye on a number of new signings over the summer, with West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell all in the frame as Manchester City look to home shores for talent, according to The Sun.

But City could face competition from Bayern Munich for Wan-Bissaka, who has played 25 games for the Eagles this season, reports the Daily Mail.

A trio of former Stamford Bridge favourites could take over at Chelsea if Maurizio Sarri gets the sack, with the Daily Mail reporting Gianfranco Zola, Eddie Newton and Paulo Ferreira could all be brought in to see out the season.

Manchester United have made the signing of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund a priority for the summer, the Daily Mirror reports.

Arsenal may look to Nick Pope as a replacement for Petr Cech after the Burnley goalkeeper is in a three-way fight for a place at Turf Moor, the Daily Mail says.
