Fernando waiting on Porto to complete Manchester City move

The agent of Fernando has revealed that the midfielder is waiting on Porto in order to push through his move to Manchester City.

The 26-year-old is expected to undergo a medical in Manchester this week after the Premier League champions lodged a reported £14.5m bid for the player.

Agent Antonio Aruajo told Maisfutebol: "Everything is in Porto's hands and we hope to finalise the transfer by the end of the week.

"Fernando is in the city of Porto waiting for Porto tell him their decision about the documents they have received so that he can travel immediately [to Manchester]."

City attempted to sign Fernando back in January, but a move was rejected by the Portuguese outfit.
