Sven-Goran Eriksson open to David Beckham arrival at Al Nasr

Sven-Goran Eriksson has revealed that he is open to the idea of midfielder David Beckham joining Al Nasr.

The former England coach has recently been appointed as a technical adviser at the United Arab Emirates club, signing an 18-month contract with the Dubai-based outfit.

"If he wants to come I'm sure they would open the gates for him," Eriksson told reporters in Dubai.

"I still speak with him, although I don't know where he will finish up."

Beckham is currently a free agent after leaving Los Angeles Galaxy in December.
