Watford striker Troy Deeney admits his future is 'out of his hands'

Deeney future 'out of his hands'

Watford's Troy Deeney has admitted that his future lies 'out of his hands' as the club will make a decision on the striker's future this summer.

The 25-year-old has scored 20 goals or more in his previous two seasons in the Championship and has attracted interest from a number of clubs.

Deeney told the Watford Observer: "I can't affect what happens.

"I think we're back in on June 23 and I go where I am told. I don't think the transfer window opens until July 1 so I'll definitely be here a week!"

Deeney has been a regular in the Watford side in the previous four seasons, but the frontman could move away from the club after they failed to finish in a playoff position last season.

The former Walsall striker scored 25 goals and made five assists for Watford in the most recent campaign.
