Time for revenge? Man City 'aiming to hijack' wonderkid transfer
Manchester City are reportedly pushing to hijack Real Madrid's proposed move for River Plate starlet Franco Mastantuono.
At a tender 16 years of age, the Argentina youth international has already become a fully-fledged member of the River Plate first team and has totalled 18 appearances for the South American giants.
Primarily a number 10, who can also play on either wing, Mastantuono has recorded two goals and one assist for River Plate in all competitions, earning minutes in the Copa Libertadores and Argentine Primera Division.
The 2007-born playmaker was also a member of the Argentina Under-17 squad that reached the semi-finals of the World Cup last year, and he made his debut for the Under-20s in a 1-0 friendly loss to the USA earlier this month.
Arsenal could hand Chelsea major Olise boost as transfer 'talks' begin
Chelsea have reportedly received a significant boost in their pursuit of Crystal Palace's Michael Olise, as the Eagles have begun negotiations to sign a possible successor.
The Blues memorably pursued Olise's signature in the summer of 2023, when they are understood to have triggered a £35m release clause in the attacker's previous contract.
However, Olise ended up snubbing a switch to Stamford Bridge in favour of penning a new deal at Selhurst Park, which runs until 2027 with a reported release clause of approximately £60m.
Despite only making 19 appearances in the 2023-24 Premier League season due to injury, but he was a pivotal performer for Palace when fit, contributing 10 goals and six assists.
Leny Yoro transfer 'dream' revealed as Lille turn down Premier League bid
French giants Lille have reportedly rejected an offer from an unnamed Premier League club for the services of 18-year-old defender Leny Yoro.
Born in 2005, the 6ft 3in centre-back blossomed under the wing of Paulo Fonseca at the Groupama Stadium before the Portuguese left his job to take up the role of AC Milan head coach.
Last season, Yoro appeared on 44 occasions for Lille and scored three goals, helping Les Dogues finish fourth in the Ligue 1 table and earn a Champions League qualifying berth.
The 18-year-old had already broken into the Dogues first team in 2022-23 and has now featured 60 times for the seniors, but his contract only has a little over 12 months left to run.
Transfer news and rumours: Broja to Milan, Arias to West Ham, Lukic to Como
AC Milan are reportedly considering a move for Chelsea striker Armando Broja during this summer's transfer window.
The 22-year-old spent the second half of the 2023-24 campaign on loan at Fulham, featuring on eight occasions for Marco Silva's side.
Broja is currently with the Albania squad at Euro 2024, and he led the line in his country's tournament opener against Italy on Saturday night.
As it stands, the forward will be back at Chelsea next month for pre-season training, but there has been speculation surrounding his future at Stamford Bridge.
New Sancho plan 'emerges' following Ten Hag U-turn
Juventus have reportedly moved into pole position to sign Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho, with the Old Lady cooling their interest in his teammate Mason Greenwood.
Sancho spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, but as it stands, he is due to return to Old Trafford for the start of pre-season training in the near future.
The 24-year-old is unlikely to play for the Red Devils again, though, having had a high-profile falling-out with head coach Erik ten Hag in the first half of the 2023-24 campaign.
Ten Hag's future had been in severe doubt, but it is understood that the Dutchman is now remaining as manager, which is likely to lead to Sancho leaving on a permanent basis this summer.
Branthwaite alternative? Man Utd 'learn' asking price for 24-year-old CB
Manchester United will reportedly have to come up with an offer of €50m (£42m) if they wish to sign Bayern Munich centre-back Matthijs de Ligt during this summer's transfer window.
The Red Devils are determined to bring in a new central defender during the current market, with Raphael Varane leaving Old Trafford on a free transfer at the end of the month.
Jarrad Branthwaite is said to be Man United's leading target, with the Englishman already thought to have come to an agreement with the 20-time English champions over personal terms.
However, Everton allegedly want in excess of £80m for his services, while Man United's opening offer for the 21-year-old is thought to have been £35m plus add-ons.
Man Utd 'initiate contact' over deal for Austrian wonderkid
Manchester United have reportedly held talks with the representatives of Austrian youngster Oghenetejiri Adejenughure to discuss a move to Old Trafford this summer.
The 17-year-old is contracted to Red Bull Salzburg, although he is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Austrian outfit.
Adejenughure scored 16 times in 20 appearances at Under-18s level last term, though, and he has also managed eight goals in 12 outings for Austria Under-17s.
A host of clubs, including AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, are said to be tracking the forward, but according to The Express, there is also firm interest from Man United.
