Jens Toornstra interested in Swansea City move

ADO Den Haag midfielder Jens Toornstra has admitted that he would consider a move to Swansea City.

Reports have claimed that Swans manager Brendan Rodgers has made a personal check on Toornstra's ability in recent weeks.

Should the Welsh club firm up their interest by making an offer, the Dutch youth international has revealed that he would be open to a transfer to the Liberty Stadium.

"If Swansea are [interested], then I would take that chance. It's a nice club and they play Dutch football," he told NUSport.

The 23-year-old's contract with ADO is due to expire in 2013.
