Swansea City defender Neil Taylor has insisted that the club's fans must not raise their expectations next season.
The Swans finished 11th in the Premier League table this term, but the 23-year-old has calmed suggestions that the club can push up the table.
"We need to stay up again, it's as simple as that. We don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves," he told the Evening Post.
"People might think that we've got to push on and that's what we'll try to do. But we've got to keep expectations to a minimum. We're a small club in this league, although we've shown we can stand tall this year.
"Over the summer, hopefully we'll strengthen the team and come back strong again."
Taylor has made 70 appearances for the Welsh club.
