Report: Crystal Palace back in for Ashley Williams

A report claims that Crystal Palace are preparing to make an official offer for Swansea City captain Ashley Williams.

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is reportedly refusing to admit defeat in his pursuit of Swansea City's club captain Ashley Williams.

Palace have been strongly linked with a move for the Welshman since the transfer window opened, but have thus far failed to make an offer.

According to The Mirror, the London club are now prepared to make their interest official, but will have to part with £10m to begin talks with the centre-back.

Williams, who is contracted to his current club until the summer of 2018, was linked with a move to Arsenal last summer.
