Half-Time Report: Jonathan De Guzman gives Swansea City lead

Jonathan de Guzman has fired Swansea City into a slender 1-0 half-time lead over Crystal Palace at the Liberty Stadium today.

The 26-year-old opened the scoring on 25 minutes, latching on to a Wilfried Bony pass before slotting beyond Eagles goalkeeper Julian Speroni.

Speroni had to be alert to maintain the one-goal deficit after denying Bony 10 minutes later from doubling the Swans' lead as Garry Monk's men earned a narrow advantage at the break.
