Bournemouth winger Max Gradel reportedly wants out of the Vitality Stadium and could be on his way to Sunderland, where he will reunite with former boss Simon Grayson.

Sunderland boss Simon Grayson will reportedly make a second loan offer for Max Gradel after having his initial approach knocked back by Bournemouth.

Grayson, appointed by the Black Cats as David Moyes's successor at the end of last month, has previously worked with the winger during their time together at Leeds United in 2010.

According to The Sun a fresh attempt to sign the 29-year-old has been made, with Sunderland hopeful of including a right-to-buy clause in any loan deal, which could set them back £2.5m next summer.

Gradel is said to be interested in departing the Vitality Stadium after a frustrating campaign last time out when failing to start a single Premier League game, despite penning a four-year deal 12 months ago.

It is claimed that teams from France and Turkey are also in for Gradel, who would become just Sunderland's second summer signing if they win the race.
