Agent: 'Sunderland have Luis Cavanda interest'

Lazio defender Luis Cavanda could join Sunderland this summer, according to the player's agent.

Black Cats boss Paolo Di Canio is looking to overhaul his side this summer and is eyeing a right-back following a bust-up with Phil Bardsley at the end of last season.

Ulisse Savani told tuttomercatoweb.com: "We'll see. We are considering various possibilities and among them is Sunderland."

Savani also represents Sunderland new boy Modibo Diakite, who made the switch from Lazio to Wearside earlier this week.
