Preview: Sunderland vs. Norwich City

Sports Mole previews Sunderland's crucial Premier League encounter against Norwich City.

Relegation looms for Sunderland if they are unable to snatch maximum points against Norwich City at the Stadium of Light this weekend.

The Black Cats are just six points away from getting dumped into the Championship, while the Canaries are in a more comfortable position, three points ahead of their North-East opponents.

The turning point for Martin O'Neill's Sunderland side came when they lost 3-1 to bottom-of-the-table outfit Queens Park Rangers last weekend.

Norwich have had an inconsistent run of late, racking up three draws, one victory and one defeat in their last five, while Sunderland have a dismal record of four losses and one draw.

The Canaries came out on top 2-1 against the Black Cats in the reverse fixture at Carrow Road in December last year.

Danny Graham and Steven Fletcher should be given the responsibility to find goals for the home side, while Kei Kamara and Grant Holt are likely to lead the line for the visitors.
