Advocaat wants 'aggressive' Sunderland

Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat has urged his players to show more "aggression" against Norwich City on Saturday.

The Black Cats lost their Premier League opener to Leicester City last weekend as they went down 4-2 at the King Power Stadium.

Advocaat is hopeful that his side will put that result behind them and produce a more dynamic performance at the Stadium of Light tomorrow.

"If we think we can play [the way we did against Leicester], then we have no chance at all," the Dutchman is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"If this team, this squad doesn't work and there is no aggression in the team to get the ball and to do something more, then we will find it very difficult, but we have discussed that and Saturday they have to show me what they can do."

Adam Johnson is ruled out of tomorrow's game with a shoulder injury, but loan signing Yann M'Vila could be in line to make his debut for the club.
