Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Stuttgart central midfielder Orel Mangala for an undisclosed fee.
It was reported earlier this week that the newly-promoted side had reached an agreement to sign the 24-year-old for around £12.75m, and the completion of the deal was announced via the club's official website on Sunday.
The two-time Belgium international pens a long-term contract at the City Ground, and becomes the 12th signing of a busy transfer window for Steve Cooper's side.
Mangala joins Lewis O'Brien, Jesse Lingard and Brandon Aguilera as new midfield additions in the East Midlands this summer, whilst the likes of Dean Henderson, Taiwo Awoniyi, Harry Toffolo, Neco Williams and Moussa Niakhate have been signed elsewhere.
The defensive midfielder, along with his fellow 11 new arrivals, is available to make his official debut for the club in the trip to Newcastle United on August 6 - Forest's first top-flight game for 23 years.
Having joined Stuttgart from Anderlecht for around £1.6m in the summer of 2017, Mangala helped Stuttgart return to Germany's top flight, before helping them to maintain their status in the Bundesliga across the past two seasons.
The Belgian appeared in 28 Bundesliga matches during the 2021-22 campaign, helping Die Roten avoid a relegation playoff spot on the final day of the season.
